Czech Foreign Minister arriving in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - At the invitation of acting Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg is arriving Wednesday, April 10, in Armenia on a 3-day official visit.

Meetings with President Serzh Sargsyan, parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan and acting Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan are on the Czech politician’s agenda, to be followed by negotiations and a joint press conference with Minister Nalbandian.

Mr. Schwarzenberg will later visit Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, RA MFA press service reported.

Nalbandian said Armenia will further collaborate with the OSCE in an effort to reach a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

Hovhannisyan will replace Tigran Sargsyan, who was appointed the head the Eurasian Economic Commission last year.
