  ANC leader says Armenia in need of bourgeois-democratic revolution April 13, 2013 - 18:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Preference was given to practical steps, rather than political philosophy when elaborating the program of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) party, first president of Armenia, ANC leader said. “Armenia pursued the path of the social liberalism following the fall of the Soviet Union. The constitutional provisions must be implemented stage by stage,” Levon Ter-Petrossian said, stressing the need for bourgeois-democratic revolution in Armenia. “There will be no true socialism without bourgeois-democratic revolution,” ANC leader said, adding that the country won’t prosper unless the upper class casts off the chains.
