"Wedding Crashers" star Vince Vaughn to topline "Business Trip"

PanARMENIAN.Net - Hot off hosting "Saturday Night Live," Vince Vaughn is in talks to star in New Regency's European comedy "Business Trip".

Todd Black, Steve Tisch and Jason Blumenthal are producing for Escape Artists. Steve Conrad ("The Pursuit of Happyness") wrote the script, which follows an American businessman who travels to Europe where madness ensues.

In April 2012, New Regency bought the project as a pitch that was described as being in the vein of "Planes, Trains & Automobiles."

Vaughn recently led "Saturday Night Live" to its second highest ratings in the 18-49 demo in the past five months. He next stars opposite his "Wedding Crashers" wingman Owen Wilson in "The Internship," which 20th Century Fox opens June 7. Vaughn has also wrapped the comedy "Delivery Man," a remake of French-Canadian hit "Starbuck" that Dreamworks will release on October 4.
