Armenian gymnasts reach European Individual Championships final

PanARMENIAN.Net - 5th European Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastic Individual Championships kicked off in Moscow, with Armenia’s Harutyun Merdinyan coming 6th in horseback riding. Merdinyan scored 15, 233 points to make it to the final. Meanwhile, Artur Davtyan came 14th with 83,165 points, Serob Soghomonyan -18th with 81,665 points.

Davtyan came 6th in the qualifications round, Vahagn Davtyan performed on the rings to take the 11th spot.

The championships will run through April 21.

At the Norway-hosted competition, the team gained 8 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze medals overall, outpacing Turkey and Ukraine.
