“Teen Wolf” star Dylan O'Brien to topline “Maze Runner” novel adaptationApril 20, 2013 - 14:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Maze Runner has cast Dylan O'Brien. The Teen Wolf actor will star in the adaptation of James Dashner's dystopian young adult novel, Digital Spy reported citing Deadline. The first book in a trilogy, the story centres around a group of teens who wake in a mysterious maze with no memories beyond their names. O'Brien will play Thomas, who the group begin to realise may hold the secret to their survival and escape. Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Aml Ameen and Thomas Brodie-Sangster have already signed on to the Wes Ball-directed 20th Century Fox film. O'Brien will next be seen in Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson's comedy The Internship. He recently guest-starred in New Girl.
