PanARMENIAN.Net - Adele's return to the recording studio has reportedly prompted Columbia Records executives to alter US release plans for Susan Boyle's latest album.
The Oscar-winning 'Skyfall' singer's follow-up to the huge-selling 21 is said to have been prioritised over the former Britain's Got Talent runner-up's fifth studio album, Digital Spy reported citing The Mirror. The singers share a record label in the US.
Adele started recording her third album on Monday (April 22), ahead of a mid-2014 release, the tabloid states.
"Both Adele and Subo have done incredibly well and both are very important artists," said an industry source. "While Subo is still a big-hitter and there are high hopes for her next album, Adele is the priority.
"Stateside, she has never been hotter. Some of those within Susan's camp are worried that this is not a good sign, but label bosses have been quick to reassure them that Susan still has an incredibly bright future."
