FM says Armenia for integration processes in post-Soviet area

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia always stood for the development of integration processes in the post-Soviet area, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said.

“Armenia is an active member of the CIS and was among the first countries to ratify the free trade zone agreement,” he said, adding that the approach determined Armenia’s cooperation in the framework of EurAsEC.

“A joint committee, based on the agreements reached on the presidential level, was formed last year, aiming to specify the cooperation between Armenia and the Customs union.A memorandum of understanding was signed between Armenian government and Eurasian Economic Commission, which will enable to determine the model of cooperation between Armenia and the Customs Union,” Minister Nalbandian said.
