 Gyumri mayor meets USAID Mission Director for Armenia April 29, 2013 - 17:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Gyumri city mayor Samvel Balasanyan met with USAID Mission Director for Armenia Karen Hilliard. Mayor Balasanyan welcomed the guest, expressing gratitude for the programs implemented in the country, particularly in the disaster area. The mission head, in turn, voiced hope that cooperation will be established in the framework of development programs targeting Gyumri and the adjacent communities. She further briefed the mayor on the key areas of the programs, with the two officials stressing the importance of the implementation of projects envisaging development of different fields of economy in Shirak province.
