Google Now makes debut on iPhone, iPadApril 29, 2013 - 20:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google Now has made its debut on iOS devices, Digital Spy said. The personal assistant service has made its way to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices via a new update to the Google Search app. Released with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system last summer, Google Now serves users relevant information based on their personal preferences precisely when they need it. The software draws information from numerous Google services - including Gmail, Calendar, Maps and Chrome - to provide the user with weather updates, meeting reminders and information about their surrounding area. Google Now will not be deeply integrated into the iOS operating system the same way it is in Google's Jelly Bean, but will include many of the same features as its Android counterpart. iOS users can install Google Now on their devices by downloading the latest update to the Google Search application.
