Armenian embassy to open in Sweden

PanARMENIAN.Net - The government of Armenia resolved to allocate funds from the state budget for opening an embassy in Sweden.

As the Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan stated at a Thursday, May 2 sitting, Armenia established diplomatic relations with Sweden in 1992.

“Sweden is the only Scandinavian country to have recognized the Genocide. Opening of an embassy has long been on agenda,” the official said.
