PanARMENIAN.Net - Summit has released the first full trailer for Gavin Hood's upcoming adaptation of Orson Scott Card's 1985 novel, "Ender's Game", TheWrap said.

The preview showcases brief moments of fighter jets duking it out with invading aliens high in the sky, then cuts even higher above the Earth's surface to a space station where young stars Asa Butterfield ("Hugo") and Hailee Steinfeld ("True Grit") are being trained by Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley as "a new kind of soldier."

For those not familiar with the book, Ford narrates the core concept of the movie: "They know our strategies, they've learned our weaknesses, and the alien attack nearly destroyed us. That must never be allowed to happen again."

"If we're going to survive, we need a new kind of soldier," Ford continues. "One who doesn't think the way we think; fear the things we fear; one the enemy would never expect."

Enter Ender Wiggin (Butterfield), a brilliant child who is humanity's last hope against a nasty alien race, called Buggers. "Ender's Game" invades theaters on Nov. 1.
