Archos rolls out ChefPad tablet for cooking enthusiastsMay 14, 2013 - 17:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Archos has unveiled a new tablet aimed at cooking enthusiasts, Digital Spy said. The ChefPad comes with preloaded cooking apps and an adjustable stand to make tablet tasks in the kitchen more practical. A silicone case is also added to the 9.7-inch tablet to protect it from splashes of water or food, as well as making it easier to clean. The ChefPad includes a 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 1080p HD video playback. It is also powered by Android Jelly Bean, and comes with 2-megapixel rear and front-facing cameras for documenting your finest culinary skills. "This is just the beginning for ARCHOS tablets using this technology," said Archos CEO Loïc Poirier. "We will continue to launch new and exciting themed tablets that curate apps in such categories as kids apps, games, educational apps, business/productivity apps and more." The ChefPad will be available from June, priced at £149.99.
