Samsung pledges to review Galaxy S4 limited storageMay 16, 2013 - 18:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung has promised to review the Galaxy S4's limited storage, Digital Spy said. The device was featured in a Watchdog investigation over claims that around 50% of the 16GB model's memory is taken up by pre-installed software. Samsung has since announced that it will look at the option of squeezing the phone's features into a smaller space to free up memory for apps. "We appreciate this issue being raised and we will improve our communications," a Samsung spokesperson told CNET UK. "Also, we are reviewing the possibility to secure more memory space through further software optimisation. "Samsung is committed to listening to our customers and responding to their needs as part of our innovation process." The company previously defended the lack of available memory, saying this was necessary to provide owners with "more powerful features". Meanwhile, Google has announced plans to launch its own version of the Galaxy S4 running pure Android - without Samsung's TouchWiz interface - in June.
