Italy arrests 4 suspects in Anonymous attacks on Vatican

PanARMENIAN.Net - Italian law enforcement agents have arrested four men for suspected links to Anonymous attacks on entities including the Vatican, The Inquirer reported.

The Anonymous flavored assault on the Vatican happened on March 22. Then a tweeted message from an account calling itself Anonymous Italy, of @OperationItaly, posted a link to a document that accused the Vatican of all manner of things, and added the announcement that the Vatican websites were down.

"Anonymous decided today to besiege your site in response to the doctrine, to the liturgies, to the absurd and anachronistic concepts that your for-profit organization spreads around the world. This attack is not against the Christian religion or the faithful around the world but against the corrupt Roman Apostolic Church," it said in its Pastebin statement.

"You have burned books of immense historical and literary value, you barbarously executed your fiercest detractors and critics over the centuries, have denied universally deemed valid or plausible theories, have led the unwary to pay to get access to paradise with the sale of indulgences..."

This was followed up by a second tweet, this one from the Your Anon News account.
