Karabakh-based military academy construction in full swingMay 23, 2013 - 14:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Construction of a military academy after legendary commanders of Armenian origin Alexander Suvorov and Valerian Mandatov is in full swing in the village of Vank of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. The construction was launched in autumn 2012, with the project authored by a Vank-born Russian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan and coordinated by Karabakh war hero Major General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan. The military academy will operate in line with international norms, with students to be provided with optimal living and education conditions. Armenian as well as foreign experts will be teaching, with the graduates to have free command of Russian, English and Azerbaijani languages. The academy opening has been scheduled for 2014.
