Large blast heard in center of Kabul![]() May 24, 2013 - 16:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A large blast was heard in the center of the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Friday, May 24, with a heavy shooting directly afterwards. The explosion occurred at about 4 pm (11:30 GMT) in the downtown district of Borj-e Sharahah, a Kabul police spokesman said. There was no word on any casualties, Reuters reported. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
