Deputy PM, envoy discuss opening of UAE embassy in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian deputy prime minister Armen Gevorgyan met on May 24 with the newly-appointed ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Saif Mohammed Al-Zaabi (residence in Tehran).

The deputy minister congratulated the envoy on the appointment, voicing confidence that he will contribute to the development of bilateral relations.

The meeting focused on Armenia-UAE cooperation, with the importance of the intergovernmental committee for the development of trade and economic relations mutually stressed.

The two further discussed the need to open UAE embassy in Armenia. Ambassador Mohammed Al-Zaabi further pledged to foster the development of cooperation with Armenia.
