Sheen’s reworked billing is featured prominently in posters for the film, which will be directed and produced by Rodriguez and released domestically by Open Road Films on Sept. 13. Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara and Lady Gaga co-star in the action film. It's the first time in his career that he won't be billed as Charlie Sheen, and is turnaround for the star of TV’s “Anger Management.” “I don't wake up feeling Latino. I'm a white guy in America," he said in a 2012 interview on the Univision TV network. "I was born in New York and grew up in Malibu." The former “Two and a Half Men” star said that he asked to be called Charlie at age 4 to avoid being confused with his uncle, who shares his first name. “We would both respond to the name Carlos, so I changed my name,” the actor explained.
