HTC One 'Google Edition' in development – report

PanARMENIAN.Net - HTC One 'Google Edition' is in development and will launch this summer, a new report claims, according to Digital Spy.

The new device will reportedly scrap the original's Sense user-interface in favour of Android Jelly Bean 4.2.

Early reports suggest that the updated HTC One will be released in the next fortnight, although sources close to CNET believe it will launch this summer.

HTC One is also believed to be working on a miniature version of its flagship smartphone.

The mini version of the HTC One is expected to sport the same premium metal-alloy chassis as the larger device - provided by Catcher Technology - with lesser hardware specs and a lower price tag.

It was recently revealed that HTC One production had doubled in order to meet demand.

The phone was used to make the world's first video call from the summit of Mount Everest by British explorer Daniel Hughes.
