Motorola to roll out Moto X smartphone

PanARMENIAN.Net - Google-owned Motorola is planning to launch its new flagship smartphone this autumn, Digital Spy said.

The Moto X, a low-cost device produced in Texas, is the culmination of two years' work following Google's purchase of Motorola in 2011.

The smartphone will head up a new range of handsets that will apparently be able to predict what their owner wants to do next using sensors.

The phone would automatically launch the camera if it was removed from a pocket and held up to take a photograph, for instance.

Few Moto X specs have been revealed, but it will have an OLED screen, long battery life and run Android.

Motorola's chief executive Dennis Woodside promised that the firm will bring "audaciousness" and "innovation" back to mobile phones with its new launches.
