Armenian President, UK envoy discuss cooperation prospects

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited UK embassy on the occasion of Queen's Official Birthday.

President Sargsyan congratulated ambassador Jonathan James Aves and embassy representatives on the holiday, wishing them productive work. He reiterated Armenia’s readiness to deepen relations with the UK in the fields of politics, culture and economy, hailing the intensification of the dialogue reported in the past years.

The envoy, in turn, shared President Sargsyan’s assessment of bilateral ties, stressing the importance of strengthening of economic relations.

Development of Armenian-UK cooperation prospects was further discussed, presidential press service reported.
