Cult filmmaker David Lynch, Lykke Li unveil new music video (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - David Lynch and Lykke Li have unveiled the music video for their new track 'I'm Waiting Here', Digital Spy said.

'I'm Waiting Here' serves as the trailer for his new album The Big Dream, which is out in the UK on July 15 and July 16 in the U.S. The track is free when pre-ordering the record.

"Most of the songs start out as a type of blues jam and then we go sideways from there. What comes out is a hybrid, modernised form of low-down blues," Lynch said of the collection.

"The blues is an honest and emotional form of music that is thrilling to the soul. I keep coming back to it, because it feels so good."

The LP - recorded over several months at Lynch's own Asymmetrical Studio - follows his acclaimed 2011 solo debut Crazy Clown Time.

11 of the 12 tracks were written by the legendary producer, with the exception of his take on Bob Dylan's 'The Ballad of Hollis Brown'.
