Queens of the Stone Age rock band claim first U.S. No.1 album (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - Queens of the Stone Age have claimed their first number one album in the U.S. The band's latest collection ...Like Clockwork landed at number one on this week's Billboard 200 tally, Digital Spy said.

The set sold 91,000 during its first week to reach the summit, while 12,000 of those copies were bought as vinyls, accounting for 13% of the sales.

Daft Punk slips to two with Random Access Memories, which shifted a further 62,000 copies this past week. It takes the total US sales for the album up to 494,000 so far.

Sleeping With Sirens land at three with Feel, Blake Shelton's Based on a True Story... moves up to four and Darius Rucker's True Believers completes the Top Five.

Elsewhere, Megadeth claim their highest-charting album since 1994 with Super Collider, which is at six, and Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience spends a 12th consecutive week in the Top 10 at nine.
