The service is available for Windows, Mac, iOS, BlackBerry and Android devices, with a version for Microsoft's Windows Phone yet to be announced. "Skype Video Messaging adds another great way to keep in touch with friends and family during life's most meaningful moments. Send a video message to your friends and family today - it's easy," said Skype in a statement. "You can capture a fleeting memory, create a heartfelt reminder or simply tell a friend or family member 'wish you were here' even when they aren't online." Skype announced back in April that it now plays host to 2 billion minutes of communication each day, across PCs, mobile devices, games consoles and connected television sets.
