DigiTec day two: focus on e-trade and industrial parks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan-hosted DigiTec Business Forum entered its second day Saturday, June 22.

Commenting on the previous day highlights in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) Karen Vardanyan mentioned the discussions with Singapore’s government regarding implementing the country’s experience in IT field in Armenia.

It’s noteworthy that during the opening ceremony, U.S. ambassador Jofn Heffern also advised to pay special attention to Singapore achievements.

“Today’s discussions will focus on e-trade as well as industrial parks in Gyumri, Vanadzor and Stepanakert,” Vardanyan said.

This year, 62 local and international companies and projects are participating in the forum and present their technological solutions aimed at raising effectiveness of businesses.

The following technological solutions are being offered to business community: traffic flow management systems, enterprise and customer management systems, call centers and the latest telephone solutions, utility payment systems, cash transaction registration systems, 3D systems, as well as electronic services by state agencies.

Featured during the forum are local technological solutions by Locator, Instigate, Unicopm, Synergy International Systems, Goods.am, MobRest.com, ScanCity, Webex Technologies, Impera Studio, Online-taxi.am, IT Service, Web Security, Pegasus Logic, PappleSoft, 3D Modeling Union, Clean Energy, Oktell, Sitronics, Cross Social and other companies.

The forum is organized by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) and is supported by the USAID-funded Enterprise Development and Market Competitiveness (EDMC) Project, with PanARMENIAN.Net news agency among information sponsors of the event.
