Aerosmith's Steven Tyler inducted into Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame

PanARMENIAN.Net - Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry were inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame on Saturday night, June 22. Along with other inductees, R&B singer John Legend and Jazz star Patti Austin, the musicians received the honor during a star-studded concert at the Los Angeles venue, AceShowbiz said.

The event, which marked the beginning of the summer concert season, also raised money for the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra and the music education program for youngsters. Actress Angela Basset hosted the concert while stars like Arsenio Hall, Stevie Wonder and Peter Fonda served as presenters.

That night, Aerosmith's rockers were inducted by veteran actor Fonda.

Each inductee performed with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra led by Thomas Wilkins. In addition to the stars' performances, the concert featured a performance by members of Youth Orchestra LA (YOLA). The concert ended with a spectacular fireworks display as Tyler and Perry performed their hit, "Walk This Way".
