Need for Commission to Study Damage to Karabakh Matured Long AgoFebruary 16, 2006 - 16:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A Temporary Commission to study damage caused to Nagorno Karabakh by Azerbaijan during the Karabakh conflict is formed in the NKR Parliament. The Commission, led by NKR National Assembly Standing Commission for Defense, Security, Law and Order Rudik Martirosyan, comprises MPs Yuri Hayrapetyan, Arpat Avanesyan, Armen Sargsyan and Maksim Mirzoyan. As NKR Parliament Speaker Ashot Gulyan stated in a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the Commission working plan is being elaborated now. «Documents of the kind are to be submitted to international institutions, first of all parliamentary assemblies, parliaments of the OSCE MG co-chairing countries. Certain work has been done to study the damage caused to NK by Azerbaijan and the need for a commission to gather and systematize all data has matured long ago,» Gulyan said.Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
