Amazon Kindle Fire gets Vine video appJuly 2, 2013 - 16:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Twitter has brought its Vine video app to Amazon's Kindle Fire range. According to Digital Spy, the GIF-making service, which was previously released for iOS and Android devices, is now available as a free download from the Amazon Appstore. The move marks the first time that Vine has been optimised specifically for a tablet device, and comes at a time of heightened competition for the service. Facebook-owned Instagram recently introduced video features to its photo-editing application, a move that has reportedly caused Vine usage to decline in recent weeks. Digital magazine service Flipboard added Instagram video support earlier on July 1, but is yet to integrate Vine. Windows Phone and BlackBerry 10 devices are yet to receive a Vine app. Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
