Apple reportedly undecided on iPad mini Retina display July 10, 2013 - 10:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple is reportedly unsure whether to include a Retina screen in its second-generation iPad mini, according to Digital Spy. DigiTimes claims that the Cupertino firm is divided over the decision because adding the display technology at this stage will result in production delays. The report also notes that Apple's follow-up to the iPad mini will feature a downsized bezel, taking its design cues from rival devices from HTC and Samsung. Previous reports suggest that the firm's upcoming tablets could run into delays because Apple is parting company with manufacturer Foxconn, with its replacement needing time to acclimatise. Apple has been tipped to unveil the iPad 5 in September, with the iPad mini likely to follow it to market after the purported design changes have been settled on. The firm is also expected to refresh its iPhone line before the end of the year, releasing the iPhone 5S and budget iPhone ahead of the holiday season.
