Armenia reports 8,5% inflation rate in July

PanARMENIAN.Net - 8,5% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in July 2013 compared to the same period in 2012.

During the reporting period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by 9,9%, non-foods’ prices increased by 4,3%, with 8,4% growth in tariffs for services posted.

Consumer prices increased by 0,2-1,2% in July compared to June in 10 Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was registered in Martuni.

0,5% increase was recorded in consumer prices in Yerevan.
