PanARMENIAN.Net - Narek Sargsyan has been relieved of the post of Yerevan’s chief architect.

As a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter was told at the public relations department of Yerevan city administration, the details will be announced later.

Earlier reports suggested that the police investigated cases of power abuse by Mr. Sargsyan, what resulted in destruction of the capital city’s cultural and historical monuments.

Sargsyan served as Yerevan’s chief architect from 1999 to 2004 and then was granted the post again in 2011.
