Toronto Fest film "Antboy" trailer released (video) August 16, 2013 - 14:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Here's something refreshing: a children's movie about a child superhero who isn't animated -- or dropping the F-bomb. "Antboy," a Danish film adapted from a popular children's book series by Kenneth Bøgh Andersen, makes its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September as part of the Kids program, TheWrap said. The first trailer suggests it could be a hit with audiences ready for an alternative to Chloë Grace Moretz's foul-mouthed Hit-Girl, a teenage superhero returning to theaters this weekend in "Kick-Ass 2." The film follows a shy 12-year-old boy who becomes a superhero, similar to Spider-Man (but nothing like Marvel's Ant-Man), after being bitten by an ant. He'll have to use his super strength and create a super-cool disguise (seriously, it's up there with Batman's signature look) to take on adult supervillain, The Flea.
