Aronian loses to Tomashevsky, drops out of FIDE World Cup

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian dropped out of Norway-hosted FIDE World Cup round 3, losing to Russia’s Evgeny Tomashevsky 0,5:1,5.

Aronian lost to Tomashevsky in the 1st set of round 3, ending the 2nd set in a draw.

In round 2, Aronian beat Russia's Igor Lysyj in a tiebreak match.
