Andriasian gained 7 points out of 9, with Iranian grandmaster Ehsan Ghaem Maghami scoring equal number of points. A win in a tiebreak Armageddon play-off brought Andriasian a victory. Armenian grandmaster Tigran Gharamian (France) was half a point behind the winner and took the third prize. Andriasian scored 13,5 points out of 18 to gain the second prize at the blitz tournament.
