The Japanese manufacturer claims that the slate will be the lightest and thinnest of its kind, but has divulged scant details of its hardware capabilities. Panasonic unveiled a 20-inch tablet at the CES trade show in January, a Windows 8 device with a 1.8GHz Intel i5 3427U vPro processor, Nvidia GeForce graphics chip, and 4GB of memory on board. The tablet on show at the Las Vegas event was billed as a paper replacement, but weighed in considerably heavier than the new slate is expected to.
