PanARMENIAN.Net - Chloe Moretz has joined the cast of November Criminals, Digital Spy said.

The movie will be directed by Hitchcock filmmaker Sacha Gervasi based on Sam Munson's 2011 novel of the same name.

November Criminals is a tale of "teenage maladjustment", following a rebellious high school student named Addison Schacht, who turns detective after one of his classmates is murdered.

Moretz will take on the role of Schacht's best friend and love interest Phoebe, according to The Wrap.

Eastern Promises writer Steven Knight provided the original screenplay for the project, with a subsequent redraft handled by Gervasi himself.

November Criminals is scheduled to begin shooting early next year.
