The new exhibition will showcase 34 paintings spanning 90 years (1860-1950) that tell the story of women artists, their activism and their artistic achievements. On display will be works by Mary Cassatt, Georgia O’Keeffe, Berthe Morisot and others. The exhibit will also include examples of successful artistic partnerships between men and women. Art will be arranged thematically from the 1870s to the mid-20th century. “Painting Women: Works from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston” will be on view through Oct. 23.
