New Armenia-EU action plan to be submitted for approval late JanDecember 6, 2013 - 18:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An inter-agency committee for coordination of cooperation between Armenian state agencies and European organizations hosted a meeting led by National Security Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan, Armenia Today reported. A number of issues, including new lines of cooperation stipulated by the Armenia-EU joint statement were on the meeting agenda. At the meeting, Baghdasaryan stressed the importance of developing an ambitious action plan to boost cooperation with the EU and give new impetus to implementation of reforms planned. As he noted, the results of the last summit in Vilnius, where the need to upgrade the EU-Armenia Action Plan was stressed, must be considered in development of a new 2014-2015 program. The new action plan will be submitted for presidential approval in late January 2014. Also, the committee members delivered reports on the 2012-2013 activities for implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy EU-Armenia program.
