Roadmap for Armenia’s accession to CU ready: minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan said Tuesday, Dec 10, that the roadmap for Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union is ready and will be discussed during the coming days by experts from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia, according to azatutyun.am.

In mid-November, chairman of the committee for CIS Affairs and Eurasian Integration Leonid Slutsky said that the roadmap would be ready within a month while Armenia will join the CU in the course of several months.

"Some of the contracts have already been signed," Seyran Ohanyan said. "We'll do our best to have them in Armenia as soon as possible."
According to the MP, the President said “we have to do better to avoid surprise attacks by the rival and be able to adequately retaliate.”
“Armenia does not join the consensus on the Declaration of the Seventh Forum of the ‪UN‬ Alliance of Civilizations,” the Foreign Ministry said.
The minister said that the process of unveiling the atrocities committed by Azerbaijan to the international community has started.
