Beyoncé's new album shatters iTunes recordsDecember 17, 2013 - 10:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Beyoncé's new album has become the fastest-selling ever worldwide on the iTunes Store, Digital Spy said. The singer's self-titled fifth studio album BEYONCÉ - released without warning on iTunes on Friday (December 13) - has shifted 828,773 copies in three days. The LP has also broken the US first-week album sales record with 617,213 copies sold. Meanwhile, BEYONCÉ has gone to number one on the iTunes Store in 104 countries. The 32-year-old's "visual album" features collaborations with husband Jay Z, Drake and Frank Ocean, as well as a track with her daughter Blue Ivy, who turns 2 in January. Every track comes with an accompanying music video, as well as three bonus clips. "I see music," the singer explained. "It's more than just what I hear. When I'm connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies. And they're all connected to the music." Beyoncé performed new track 'XO' for the first time at her 'Mrs Carter Show' concert at Chicago's United Centre on Friday.
