Daft Punk, Imagine Dragons added to Grammy Awards performers lineup

PanARMENIAN.Net - Several A-list musicians have been added to the line-up of performers at the 56th Grammy Awards. Daft Punk, Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar are among those who will take the stage at the event set to be held at Los Angeles' Staples Center on January 26, 2014, AceShowbiz said.

In addition to performing, French duo Daft Punk is up for multiple awards. They will battle against other artists in categories that include Record of the Year for Pharrell Williams-assisted "Get Lucky" and the coveted Album of the Year for "Random Access Memories".

According to MTV, Imagine Dragons will team up with rapper Kendrick Lamar for their upcoming appearance. The Las Vegas rockers have been nominated for Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance, while the Compton MC bags seven nominations including Album of the Year and Rap Album of the Year for "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City" and Best New Artist.

Other performers that have been announced are Pink and Fun.'s Nate Ruess. They are set to join forces for their collaboration hit "Just Give Me a Reason", which is nominated for Song of the Year and Pop Performance of the Year.
