Turkish-Armenian writer Sevan Nisanyan turns himself in

PanARMENIAN.Net - Well-known Istanbul journalist, Taraf newspaper correspondent Sevan Nisanyan was given a 2-year prison sentence on charges of “illegal construction” on his Izmir estate.

On December 23, the Turkish-Armenian writer turned himself in to the Prosecutor’s Office. In his Twitter post, he said, “I’ll go to jail December 2. I suppose I’ll spend 2 years there, nothing in final yet,” the post said, according to Agos.
