“Snowpiercer” Korean sci-fi hit unveils international trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Snowpiercer has released an international trailer with more new footage from the Korean sci-fi hit, Digital Spy said.

The Japanese trailer has arrived for Bong Joon-ho's film ahead of its release in the country on February 7.

Tilda Swinton, Chris Evans, John Hurt, Kang-ho Song, Octavia Spencer, Jamie Bell and Ewen Bremner star in the film set in a future in which a failed experiment to halt global warming has plunged Earth into a new ice age.

The last survivors of the human race live on a train which continuously circumnavigates the globe. Unhappy with the classist society in which they find themselves, the residents plot revenge against their brutal dictator (Swinton).

Joon-ho has said that he "has faith" that Harvey Weinstein will abandon controversial plans for a severe edit for the film's release in the West.

Snowpiercer is yet to announce its UK and North American release dates.
