“Pompeii” action adventure unveils new teaser

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nods to 300's graphic novel visuals and The Gladiator's sword-and-sandals aesthetic are present in the latest teaser for Pompeii, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The Sony/TriStar Pictures film, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Alien vs. Predator), features Kiefer Sutherland, Kit Harrington and Carrie Anne-Moss.

In the film, a slave turned gladiator finds himself in a race against time to save his true love, who has been betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts, he must fight to save his beloved as Pompeii crumbles around him.

Pompeii is set to hit theaters in wide release on Feb. 21, the same weekend as Kevin Costner's action title 3 Days to Kill.
