PanARMENIAN.Net - Clive Standen has joined the cast of the Working Title and Universal co-production “Everest”, Variety said.

Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jason Clarke and Jake Gyllenhaal will star with Baltasar Kormakur directing.

Cross Creek and Walden Media are also on as co-financiers and producers.

The action-adventure drama will recap the 1996 multi-expedition assault on Everest that left eight climbers dead.

Standen can be seen next in History Channel’s second season of “Vikings.” He is repped by Gersh and Independent Talent Group.
