Focus Taiwan claims that the phone maker is developing a "high-end" slate for the web giant, but was unable to confirm hardware specs or details of its screen size. Google is yet to officially announce future plans for its Nexus product line, but rumours of a new 8-inch addition to the range emerged last year. The firm's Nexus 10 is also overdue for a refresh, having launched in 2012 through a manufacturing partnership with Samsung. HTC has not launched a tablet since the US-only HTC Jetstream touched down in 2011. The company also released the 7-inch HTC Flyer that same year, only to see it struggle in the market due to its high price tag. Meanwhile, HTC has confirmed plans to launch a wearable tech product before Christmas.
