Areximbank-Gazprombank Group to continue social outreach programs

PanARMENIAN.Net - Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC strategic development program envisages implementation of actions and social programs tailored to the needs of different population groups. For many years, the bank has been organizing outreach actions for students, children from socially vulnerable families, WWII veterans, also allocating means for the improvement of Yerevan.

In 2013, the bank continued fulfilling its social responsibilities. Thus, in the framework on an action Throughout the Country – For the Benefit of Every Child, the bank sponsored one-month rations for 20 children under the care of the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF). The bank also covered transportation expenditures of children who arrived in Armenia from Syria, as well as helped in sponsoring surgery for 2 children from socially vulnerable families.

Besides, the bank covered printing of an Armenian language textbook for Sunday schools of Armenian communities in Russia and Ukraine. In the framework of the action Throughout the Country – For the Benefit of Every Student, the bank grants annual stipends, with the winner of the 2013 action Mikael Malkhasyan using his stipend to release a book dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Armenian book-printing.

In the framework of the action Throughout the Country – For the Benefit of Every Scientist, the bank cooperates with the Armenian Association for Academic Partnership and Support (ARMACAD).

In 2013, the bank presented its long-time client, N102 Russian military base, with an EPSON projector and a monitor, also purchasing canteen furniture for a Gyumri-based N19 Russian school.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC is actively cooperating with Russian embassy in Armenia, assisting in organization of cultural and social events.

The bank also takes care of its former employees, extending material aid to retired workers of banking sector.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC will continue social programs focusing on the outreach to socially vulnerable groups, as well as active participation in the live of the country and its citizens.
