Major update coming to Xbox One this weekendFebruary 15, 2014 - 18:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Arriving three days later than expected, the first major update of 2014 is coming to Xbox One this weekend offering improved data and storage managing, T3 reports. The February update brings many system changes to the Xbox One including the ability to see and manage storage space. Users will be able to better manage content, installations and the download queue. The update also divides ‘My Games’ and ‘My Apps’ into separate lists making it easier to control. "Now you can pick the order in which you want your content to load and we’ve added a boot progress indicator so you can better track updates while they load," explained Larry Hryb (a.k.a. Major Nelson), Microsoft’s Director of Programming for Xbox One. The new update also adds a battery power indicator back to the home screen and lets you use a USB keyboard. Microsoft has already said it will be releasing another update in March which will primarily fix Xbox Live and party chat issues. The Xbox One will automatically check for updates as part of “Instant On” mode so it will arrive on the console even when it’s off.
