Tom Hardy's “Locke” trailer premieres online

Tom Hardy's Locke has premiered its first trailer online, Digital Spy said.

The film, written and directed by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, sees the Dark Knight Rises star play a Welsh building site manager making his way across the UK.

The entire movie takes place in the lead character Locke's car. Olivia Colman, Andrew Scott and Ruth Wilson will feature in the voice cast through phone calls made to Locke.

Hardy will work with Knight again on the second series of British crime drama Peaky Blinders.

Locke will open in UK cinemas on April 18, 2014.
