Star-studded “Guardians of the Galaxy” unveils 1st trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy hit the web, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Guardians star Chris Pratt was onhand during Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which premiered the trailer for the Marvel Studios tentpole. Aliens, spaceships and hijinks dominate the footage.

"The Guardians of the Galaxy are a group of misfits who are brought together to win a baseball game. They use a trick play," Pratt joked to Jimmy Kimmel, before admitting he was describing the Bad News Bears.

In addition to Pratt, Guardians of the Galaxy also stars Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Benicio Del Toro, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly and Glenn Close. The James Gunn-directed film hits theaters Aug. 1. Marvel Studios also has Captain America: The Winter Soldier out this summer, with the Chris Evans-toplined film hitting theaters April 4.
